RIP
Hi everyone,
As you know, the Warwick Foundation receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of the public and businesses to survive.
One of the ways we can get funding is through grants offered to charities from Foundations that have been specifically set up to help certain causes. One of these Foundations is the Vodafone Foundation.
The Vodafone Foundation have a program called the Vodafone World of Difference grant that gives 5 Australian's the chance to work full time for their chosen charity for a year with a salary and expenses.
As a volunteer, I serve as the General Manager and spend every spare hour I have on the Foundation. I live and breathe TWF and I am applying for this grant so I can focus on our events, growth, administration and various awareness campaigns.
With so much that we want to achieve and so many people we need to reach out to, this grant would have a huge impact on the Foundation. It would mean that in 2010 we are one step closer to closing the gap in the care and treatment of this forgotten generation.
This link is our plea to Vodafone to make a World of Difference to us. To support us please have a look and feel free to leave any positive comments.

Cancer Council survey for Young Adults with cancer - A chance to have your say!
As many of you would know, I have been trying to push the Cancer Council to create more services for Young Adults. Well I have some really good news to share with you today... Annie from the Support Services Department of the CC has just launched the first ever survey specific for us Young Adults affected by cancer.
They would like to hear from cancer survivors and carers aged 25 - 40 to find out what you would like to have included in survivorship programs.
I would encourage you all to please take some time to fill out the following survey which will assist the Cancer Council for this future program planning.

May I also encourage you to cut and paste this message into an email and send it to your friends, to help get the word out and get as much information in.
You may also like to add a reply in this post of what you thought of the survey, as this may encourage other readers to complete the survey too Smile
many thanks,
Nikki
