Save the Children works in more than 40 countries around the world, including the United States. Development programs focus on improving basic conditions and potential futures for children through basic education for girls and boys, maternal and child health services and income generating opportunities. In countries experiencing emergencies, political upheaval, war, or violence, Save the Children helps provide protection and long-term recovery. In nearly 200 sites throughout the United States, Save the Children focuses on improving literacy, nutrition and physical activity, during and after school, for children and youth of rural poverty.

I DONATE EVRY MONTH $100 TO THIS CAUSE, THEY SRE GREAT BECAUSE THEY HELP THE HUNGRY CHILDREN IN THE WORLD AND NOW THE CHILDREN IN HAITI NEED A LOT OF HELP, THERE ARE A LOT OF ORFANS AFTER THE QUAKE
Every month, I try to give at least a small donation to one of the Causes that I support. This month, it's Save the Children. Won't you give a little something to a Cause you believe in?
If your looking for a reputable charity that will help the children of Haiti, Save the Children is highly rated by www.charitynavigator.com and CNN Impact Your World. You can either send a one time donation or sponsor a child through the program Lifeline and it's only $28 a month.

FYI: Congress passed a bill that will allow you to deduct Haiti contributions on your 2009 taxes for donations made between Jan 12 and Feb 28.
We always lose a dollar or more once in a while that we don't even care sometimes...... but if a dollar is donated to a good cause...it will magnify the impact to the world and...... your world. A dollar can make a difference if more people would do it in a larger scale. Thank FB friends!
Once again..I contributed a fairly small amount that I know I would spend on something else that I don't really need. And till next month..
