The global warming scare has provided a field day for politicians and others who wish to control our lives. After all, only the imagination limits the kind of laws and restrictions that can be written in the name of saving the planet. Recently, more and more scientists are summoning up the courage to speak out and present evidence against the global warming rope-a-dope. Atmospheric scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said, "It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don't buy into anthropogenic global warming."
Dr. Goldenberg has the company of at least 650 noted scientists documented in the recently released U.S. Senate Minority Report: "More Than 650 International Scientists Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims: Scientists Continue to Debunk 'Consensus' in 2008." The scientists, not environmental activists, include Ivar Giaever, Nobel Laureate in physics, who said, "I am a skeptic. ... Global warming has become a new religion." Kiminori Itoh, an environmental physical chemist, said warming fears are the "worst scientific scandal in the history. ... When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists." "So far, real measurements give no ground for concern about a catastrophic future warming," said Jarl R. Ahlbeck, a chemical engineer at Abo Akademi University in Finland, author of 200 scientific publications and former Greenpeace member. Atmospheric physicist James A. Peden, formerly of the Space Research and Coordination Center in Pittsburgh, said, "Many [scientists] are now searching for a way to back out quietly [from promoting warming fears], without having their professional careers ruined."

What we need to be doing is focusing our energy on working with the environment to meet our needs. Start giving back a little and stop taking so much.

First off I am all for helping the enviorment, however I do need to address a few things on this subject. global warming is real and there really is nothing we can do to stop it. sure we can help slow the process some but its happening and has been for a long time. what we have done to the earth since the industrial revolution hasnt been enough to really impact the earth in such a way that we have begun to cause its destruction. We have had ice ages, meteors hit, severe climate changes all through history. we had nothing to do with it. Fact: natural disasters have increased by 2000% since the time columbus set sail for america. Fact: the north and south poles are reversing and has never happened before in history. Fact: the earths gravitational pull has a half life of about 1400 years and every 1400 years gets weaker. all of which has nothing to do with us. should we recycle? of course. should we stop using fossil fuels? of course. Will it help? of course. The other mis conception is to stop using paper products cause its destroying trees. This is so far from the truth. I used to live in a lumber town far north into the state of Wisconsin where workers cut down trees to make things like paper bags, toilet paper, computer paper etc. They plant generations of trees that first of all are really no use for anything but paper. they have one generation they cut down while the others grow. example 1 is ready now the next in a few months the next in a few more months etc. and everytime they cut one they replant it with more so its a constant source. they dont cut down the rain forest to make paper like some believe. And finnaly we will never get the government to stop using oil. Go to www.waterfuelcell.org and see for yourself what Stanley Meyer invented. Youll see that the government confiscated his invention and controvercially poisoned him although there isnt enough proof, because it wouldve bankrupt this country and many others. He invented a fuel cell that runs on pure water. not the hydrogen fuel cells you see in cars. but straight water. While your there help join those and the others reaserching his work to bring his invention back into public circulation. keep yourself anonomys bacause when the stuff hits the fan you dont want the government comming after you lol.
As far as gas is concerned the only way to stop it is to stop buying gas period. And unfortunatley that will never happen. But I do supprt the enviorment so dont get upset from my post. I recycle and try not to drive as much. In fact ive been thinking of buying a greese kit. which allows any diesel to run on used vegetable oil. go to www.greesecar.com and see for your self.

Lets raise awareness. I think everyone should watch the CNN documentary called Planet in Peril. It really opened up my eyes and my heart to this cause!

Look up switchgrass ethanol. I believe it should be our fuel source for a while at least. Check out Maxium Ride books too. They talk about saving the world in way that makes people love it. Save Earth!!!
