St Helena Hospice has just launched a new range of branded gift items that they are hoping people will purchase and give as Christmas presents this year. Items on sale include beautiful and eye catching pink jute bags, mugs, t-towels, diaries, address books and pens. Items can be purchased from any of the eight Hospice shops located in Colchester, Dovercourt, Frinton, Halstead and Clacton. There is also a wide range of Christmas cards on offer to suit all tastes.

In addition to this, St Helena Hospice is excited to be launching a new online shop where people can purchase all of these items as well as specially embroidered Hospice polo shirts and baseball caps. St Helena Hospice is for anyone who has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and all services are free of charge to patients and their families. The money raised through the online shop and sales of the new branded gifts in the shops will be used to support Hospice services and provide care for people throughout the community.

The Hospice provided fantastic care for my Mum and our family during the later stage of her illness.
To say Thank you to them I am doing a series of runs this year. The first was last Saturday, a 15k trail race in Hawkshead. It was my first trail race with much more loose rock under foot than I had anticipated so I did not get a great time 2 hours 51 seconds. Have a 10k in May and the Great North Run in September to go.
Please sponsor me at justgiving.com/penhayward

Thank you
