St Helena Hospice

St. Helena was founded by the people of North East Essex and is still dependent for a large proportion of its running costs on the generosity of the community.

This wonderful facility gives time and comfort to those facing their last days, providing a place of peace and dignity and provides support to the patients friends and family.

This charity is funded totally by donations from the community... It's helping my mother at moment and I want to give something back for the wonderful care and support they are giving her and my family.

1. We exist to provide support for terminally ill patients requiring palliative care and for their families and friends

2. Support is designed to enable the individual to live in comfort with the dignity, degree of independence and control.

3. Our aim is to provide specialist care and support for patients with an advanced, life- threatening illness in a relaxed setting.

4. Please invite as many of your friends as you can, this is a worthy cause that doesn't get enough attention from the public
