The URM spreads the love of Jesus to the poor, homeless, chemically dependant, the women and children of domestic violence.....we reach out to EVERYONE who needs the hand of Christ to pick them up!
The Union Rescue Mission meets emergency needs of homeless and disadvantaged individuals. We provide opportunities for men to overcome homelessness and addictions as well as women and children a safe environment to work on breaking the cycle of domestic violence in their lives.
1. All believers have a duty to show the love of Christ.
2. All people need to be receivers of the love of Christ!!!
3. While foreign missions are great, the church MUST NOT forget about local missions as well.
