Andrew, aged eight years, from Romania, is a little boy that has a great artistic sense and a wonderful voice and I would like to draw your attention to his delicate case.
Andrew has all the necessary qualities of a gifted child, acknowledged and certified by the Association IRSCA Gifted Education - founder of EDUGATE - Romanian Consortium for Education of Gifted and Talented Children and Youth, association in which Andrew is Member of Excellence. This distinction was given to him following skill testing, obtaining excellent results. He sustained the cause of gifted children during the show "I want to Opera!", organized by David Petrovich Children Association in partnership with IRSCA Gifted Education at The National Opera of Bucharest Romania, where he performed in duet with mezzo-soprano Oana Andra (you may see his show here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nde_LnILN8).
Andrew is singing since five years old, studied sport dancing since the age of four and a half. He participated in numerous competitions and festivals of music and dance, as well as school competitions such as Kangaroo, where he obtained excellent results (proof of it stand trophies, medals and diplomas - which you will find posted at My Awards on his website: www.gheorgheandrei.ro). He always says: Music is my life and my dream is to become a great artist!
He was invited to many international competitions and festivals of music as Sanremo junior – Italy, Little Prince – Chisinau, but unfortunately could not attend because of the lack of money . At national festivals where he attended so far, he has been awarded every time! He would like to be able to participate in many competitions and to get many awards for Romania, BUT HIS GREATEST DESIRE IS TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE HIS MUSICAL TRAINING, which has become almost impossible due to poor material situation of the family that can't afford to pay his classes anymore.
Moral support from his parents is very big, but, unfortunately, the financial support is very limited now, which prevent them to offer to Andrew the chance to continue and enhance music education and to carry on his beautiful dream: TO BECOME A GREAT ARTIST!
The costs related to classes, the copyright for the songs, recordings in the studio, participation in festivals, travel, stage costumes, have been supported so far by his parents, but, unfortunately, they no longer can afford to offer financial support to Andrew, money that he need for his musical training.
ANDREW WANTS VERY MUCH TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE HIS MUSICAL STUDIES and that he can be able to participate in the most important national / international festivals and competitions where he was invited!
