Americans for UNFPA, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

The Americans for UNFPA, formerly the U.S. Committee for UNFPA, was formed in 1998 to raise moral, political and financial support in the United States for the work of the UNFPA, which provides voluntary family planning and reproductive health services, ensures safe motherhood, prevents HIV/AIDS and other STDs, assists in humanitarian crisis situations, and offers other critical life-saving support to women, men and children in over 140 developing countries.

$5 can buy three safe delivery kits to help prevent fatal infections during delivery for women who cannot reach a medical facility.

$10 can provide 500 condoms to prevent HIV infection and unintended pregnancies.

$25 can provide five pregnant women with quality care.

$100 can provide 10 HIV tests and counseling services.

$250 can equip a health facility to provide obstetric care to a community of 75,000.
