Lets make Cochlear Implant surgery available to all ENT surgeons

Cochlear Implant companies in India are denying cochlear implants to ENT surgeons except for a select few, this monopolization is helping both the doctor and the company. The companies are keeping higher price in view of this and passing on "Professional Charges" (read cuts/kickbacks) ranging from a minimum of Rs.1,00,000 to almost 2,50,000 to the doctors. Not included are the rehabilitation charges of Rs. 50,000 and other benefits like free travel, funding for home, hospital etc.
This is encouraging unethical practices like patient poaching and implanting patients when it is not necessary and also looting the government through its schemes.
