We went to the moon once at the behest of a great president who did not shy away from challenge
There is no reason why we cant return 40 years later, with more knowledge, better technology & people constantly asking why we have not yet been back
It is not only about the money. FGS - it's a naming a machine that goes to onather world!
I would like to name it Noordung, in a memory of genius who influenced the space generation not only with his early epochal inventions, but with the precise idea what is the space voyage about. Yet, too many people know nothing about him!

I would like to name our lander Tsiolkovsky, after the Russian astronautics pioneer Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. Read about Tsiolkovsky here: http://bit.ly/Tsiolkovsky
I think that the work of Tsiolkovsky underpins the whole of the work of Synergy Moon. He worked on rockets, space stations, space colonies and, fitting well with the artistic endeavours of Synergy Moon, Tsiolkovsky also wrote about music.
Tsiolkovsky's words have inspired me for much of my life: "The Earth is the cradle of mankind, but one cannot live forever in the cradle".
Trans Lunar Research is sponsoring our lunar lander, which will deliver our rover, then become our first automated lunar base, performing research and producing lunar art works! Be a part of the adventure, not just an observer, contribute to the cause!
Updated: The cause has raised $100.
I provided $8,000 to the SYNERGY MOON project. I wanted to see this "synergy minded team" in action and I am very pleased with their progress. I will be providing MUCH MORE MONEY via the eSpaceTickets.com Rovers on the Moon Contest.
Keep up the Great work!
Check Back for new simulations showing our lander in action, doing great science and creating great artworks!
The first 100 donations of $50 or more will be added to our Lunar Lander's email list to receive the first digital copies of Art From The Moon, emailed directly from the lunar lander based email server!
I would name it Columbia III out of respect and reverence for both the Apollo 11 CM and our first Orbiter.
