About
> $1 million per household to pay federal IOUs is too much!
The goal of this cause is *only* to spread word about the problem and not to advocate which budget plan should be used to solve it.
All causes start small before going viral to potentially grow to millions in a few weeks or months.
If you don't spread the word, who will?
"POLL REVEALS: Americans Are Still In Deep Denial About The Deficit" http://read.bi/h6QDGR If they realized that debt+money short for soc. security, medicare, etc. was this much politicians would need to act. Most people hear about $trillions of dollars and can't relate We need to put the debt and spending figures in per household terms and spread the word to everyone.Few who do understand bother contacting congress. For links to contact them, and more details, see the website http://StopNationalDebt.com
If each person on average recruits a new friend every 3 days we double in size. It would take only 7 weeks to reach 10 million (though obviously I can't expect that). If it took 12 days for each person to recruit someone new it would take 7 months. Expect progress to be far slower than that but you never know. Its worth spreading the word even if the cause never grows much at all beyond its current tiny size. Hopefully we get bloggers or talk radio on our side. There are links to this cause from StopNationalDebt.com so its easy to tell someone how to find this.
