Today, I'm writing to tell you that you can help support the thousands of people who will gather in D.C. even if you can't be there. Ask your Congressperson to publicly support the action -- and their constituents who have decided to take a stand for the climate and a clean energy future.
This action is intended to express the urgency of the climate crisis. The people who will be risking arrest on March 2 deserve support not only from us but also from our leaders.

By declaring their public support for the people who are taking part in this courageous action, Congressional representatives will have the chance to declare that they too understand that we need to stop global warming now and build a new sustainable economic future.

But Congress needs to hear from you. (http://ga3.org/ct/KdN56X41U49c) They need to hear that their constituents demand they stand in solidarity with the movement to stop global warming.

Congress is supposed to represent the people. Today they have the chance to represent you by supporting the Capitol Climate Action.
