Cork County Council want to outlaw photography - let us engage positively with lawmakers and stop this bad idea becoming law
Cork County Council want to outlaw photography - let us engage positively with lawmakers and stop this bad idea becoming law
Cork County Council want to introduce a bye law that has the following line in it:
“No person, unless they are a member of a family, shall operate or use a camera, camera phone, video or any other media device in a playground without authorization from the Council."
Photography is Good for Society and not something that should be outlawed. There are laws already in existence that protect our children and this proposed law is a bad law.
The proposed law is currently under public consultation - so show that you don't agree with the proposed law by joining our cause - Photography is Good for Society.

We hope you enjoy our image by Corkman Fr Browne. It is reproduced here with permission. If laws like the one proposed were in place when Frank Browne was alive we wouldn't have this image as part of our heritage.
