Yes ,plastic pollution is a great threat to the environment. In India and other national parks of the world plastic left behind by the visitors is eaten by the animals ,which gets lodged in their stomach and can never be digested by the animal , causing its painful death.The oceans ,rivers and other water bodies too are polluted with plastic all over the world. Why cant bio degradable bags and articles be made compulsory.
I just noticed what damage we do day by day. I just notice that nothing will ever change if we don't start now. This is the last train for us to catch or we will be done with this planet. If we don't have the courage and will to do something now, we can give up already! We need to stop the plastic pollution, we need to stop the deforestation and we need to use green energy. And we need to start now. Now or never.
I totally agree with the reduation in use of plastic and the removal of cancer-causing chemicals. However, I DON'T agree with receiving emails from this group filled with non-science. This is the list I was sent. Don't scare-monger and sell this petition based on fairy-tales and half-truths. But most particularly when the real science is impressive enough.

For ALL TEACHERS/PARENTS start researching this because we are exposing this to our children every day. ***Instant snow craft projects, tampons (TSS), diapers, plastic bottles, and so much more all compounds of the same chemicals. These chemicals cause contact dermatitis, neurological disorders (Hmmm... makes me think about...

Dunecraft, inc labels their products as non-toxic and made in USA.
I am honestly not a big believer is recycling plastic. It brings down the volume but the process of recycling cannot be good for the environment with the amount of heat to mix the plastic chemicals. And even though they took BPA out of most plastics on the market they aren't going to tell you they replaced it with another harmful chemical.

Yes many animals specially bovine are dying a slow death by eating plastic bags from the garbage dump.
