Nica HOPE Chureca Outreach Project

Nica HOPE is working in a collaborative effort with Fabretto Children's Foundation to bring much-needed education support services and vocational training opportunities to the children and families of the Managua City Trash Dump (known as La Chureca) and the surrounding community.

1. Education and vocational training will provide real opportunities for a life apart from the trash.

2. Increased coordination and networking will allow marginalized groups to better access existing opportunities.

3. Instruction in critical thinking, creativity, and hands-on problem solving with an integral focus on values and character-building will develop students into effective, well-rounded citizens, workers and individuals.
