GirlSource: Educate and Empower Young Women

Since 1998, GirlSource has been providing meaningful employment and leadership opportunities for low-income, high-school-age girls in San Francisco. Our paid job program offers technology training, supplemented by individual guidance to help girls finish high school, go on to college, and launch their careers.

1. We believe that to truly affect the lives of low-income teenage girls, they must receive continual, personalized support throughout high school.

2. We provide employment, technology training, leadership, college-prep, mentoring, public speaking and other opportunities to low-income young women.
