I am so glad that I came across this cause and am proud to join this group. I myself was a victim of abuse as a child and the woman I now call my mother fought long and hard for me and won. Every person can make a differencein a childs life for the better.

Why we do what we do.....
A girl disclosed that her mother had left her in a park as she could no longer financially support her. A custodian adopted her. In return she was required to beg, sell shoes and do all the household chores. If she earned too little she could be physically and verbally abused. The evidence was clear - she had pinch marks and cigarette burns...
