APIA Vote - Michigan is a non-partisan nonprofit organization and our purpose is to serve the APIA community through civic participation, advocacy, and education. We aim to build power within the Asian & Pacific Islander American community in Michigan in order to further a community social justice agenda. The group was formed in 2007, as an outgrowth of an ad hoc coalition that emerged in 2006 to educate APIAs about affirmative action and the harmful effects of Proposal 2.
