The art of storytelling is a way that young people learn to speak their truths and listen to the stories of others. But storytelling has become a lost art, and low-income youth of color in the Bay Area are rarely given a platform to share their own stories.
Through our partnerships with underserved communities, Streetside Stories fosters a safe environment where students develop their voices, take risks, and become empowered truth-tellers. We serve the young people who need our help the most:
- Students living in low-income families
- English language learners
- Students scoring below the basic level on literacy tests.
Be a part of our effort by joining our cause, recruiting your friends and donating to help us continue serving youth in the Bay Area. For more info: www.streetside.org.

4. In the last 21 years, Streetside has helped over 14,000 kids in grades K-12 share the true stories of their lives.
