To provide professional & comprehensive veterinary clinics for animals of the Galapagos Islands

Darwin Animal Doctors' mission is to provide professional and comprehensive veterinary services for the animals of the Galapagos Islands. We work to preserve the archipelago's extraordinary biodiversity by humanely limiting the populations of non-native species. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we are able to offer all of our services for free or low-cost.

Darwin Animal Doctors currently operates a full-time, non-profit veterinary clinic on Santa Cruz - the most populated island of the Galapagos. We are currently working to construct a new clinic on San Cristobal, and provide veterinary care to Isabella and Floreana Islands via spay/neuter campaigns.

DAD works closely with the Ecuadorian government, island municipalities and the Galapagos National Park to provide the best and most comprehensive veterinary care for all animals on the islands.

OUR WORK
Veterinary Care - Our veterinary team is committed to providing the highest quality of care possible for all animals, free of charge.

Education - We educate animal guardians about preventative care, regular vet visits, the importance of spay and neuter, and the importance of preventing interactions between domestic animals and wildlife.

Strategic Partnerships - We partner with local government offices and other NGOs to maximize our effectiveness in treating as many animals as possible.

We Need Your Help!
Darwin Animal Doctors is currently working to get critically needed veterinary equipment for our veterinarians and hiring more staff for our clinics. Any donation helps immensely, goes directly to program services in the Galapagos, and is tax deductible. Darwin Animal Doctors was granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity status with the Internal Revenue Service in 2010
