When a child or teenager has a serious medical condition, everyone in the family is affected. The kids, their parents and siblings struggle, in different ways, to grapple with the intrusion of illness or serious injury into their lives. Starlight understands what families go through when a child is sick, and how important it is for families to find relief from constant worry and isolation. Our entertainment, education and family activity programs have been proven to distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families facing similar challenges so that no one feels alone.

Hey everyone..i love this foundation. We all like our lives filled with fun memories and it would suck without 'em..right? Well.. we can help that happen in the lives of children who spend most of their time sick cooped up in hospitals. This program helps create good memories for sick kids like, building media rec. rooms at the hospital, family "escapes" to cool places, prom night for those to sick to go and lots more. If you cant donate $ please go check out thier website (www.starlight.org) and you'll see tons of big name sponsers (ex: colgate, guitar hero, california pizza etc) that donate $ to Starlight from your purchase of their product. Dont forget to join Causes too and spread the word!! last year starlight made my son's dream come true after battling cancer they gave him tickets to go and watch chelsea football club against aston villa he also got to meet the players familys and watch the football in the box with them then he went to the mega store and buy things to remeber his dream day thank you starlight for making kai's dream come true xx
