Dear Friend:

I am writing to ask your help for a special campaign we are running this summer.

Five years ago, an abused child was lost in the overburdened bureaucratic system of foster care.

At the same time, Monica Gray logged onto our website to see where she might volunteer.
Because of our work, Monica found what she was looking for, and like all the matches we make here, it was an adventure she will never forget.

She found details about CASA, a program advocating for abused and neglected children at the Mental Health Association.

Monica connected with the young girl in foster care and became her Court Appointed Special Advocate. It has become a wonderful relationship.

Every Connection Matters.

Why? Because in essence each connection represents:
• a child finding an advocate
• a park getting a new trail
• an isolated senior eating a healthy meal
• a teenager teaching violin to a young child
• a shelter puppy going on a walk...

Last year, The Volunteer Center made 15,000 of these connections.

Your support makes this possible.
Each connection like Monica's costs us about $25.

We work really hard to make these connections easy for you to explore. One generous donor is so impressed she's decided to work some summertime magic through this challenge:

Every connection you fund for $25 will result in five volunteers working in our community.
