it is disgusting to think people can do this to our water and our land.
poisoning our water, air and kids so some corporation can make bucks for share holders is fucked up.
Water will become our most precious commodity. With uncertain environmental times ahead it is insane to be fracking now....
Without our beautiful earth we are nothing...Healthy Earth healthy beautiful humans :) Its really simple <3 what do you want for the future of your children a green earth or money? Sure can't live on that with no clean air and clean water and a beautiful environment.
Fracking is unsafe, it risks contaminate water aquifers with chemicals.
the threat to the water table, how it is ugly in every way, how it means people who've lived on beutiful and productive rural land all their lives have to then accomodate gas rigs as well as leaking gas, how the technology itself is hit or miss, effectively exploding underground. We donlt now what it will do to the water table, how much water it uses etc etc.
AT wednesdays meeting in Lismore, we were told there were 700 drilling wells, but they could not say how many monitoring wells! however, there monitoring wells are the SAFE GUARD that have been spruiked. WE ARE MONITORING THE WELLS, they say, how we ask, monitoring the wells, how many, don't know?
CAN WE TRUST THEM.........
