To emotionally and monetarily support rescue and relief efforts of marshlands, fishermen/women's jobs, and endangered animals along the now oil-tainted U.S.A. Gulf coastlines.
All OSERE Fundraiser donations received will go DIRECTLY to the National Wildlife Fund's rescue and relief efforts of national wildlife marshlands, fishermen/women's jobs, and endangered animals along the now oil-tainted Louisiana coastlines; a State which already experienced a massive, devastating natural disaster in Hurricane Katrina.
The OSERE Fundraiser originator, Greater Fellowship Assembly, is itself a non-denominational, 501(C)(3), non-profit church which was founded in 1992 and is led by Bishop Lafayette Carthon, Sr. Our goal is to help individuals and the community find spiritual peace, harmony, and positive paths.
We support our environment and our community and we welcome our community's spiritual and financial support in this rescue and relief effort as well.
1. A recent massive oil spill from an oil rig explosion off the coast of Louisiana is spilling a whopping 200,000 gallons a day into the ocean.
2. It has begun to affect the lives of American Fishermen, whose livelihood is based in those waters which this oil spill disaster has now tainted.
3. It is set to become the largest oil spill in history and, sadly, has now hit the marshlands and coastline of Louisiana and three other Gulf States.
4. This man-made oil disaster has spread from a size of 1,150 sq. miles to now an unbelievable 3,850 sq. miles and still growing.
