Haydenfilms Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, educating and funding independent and student filmmakers. Our aim is to finance local student film projects with an emphasis on social issues in the community.

We are currently trying to start a PSA program, which would take at-risk teens from Eastern Pennsylvania and bring them together for a chance to collaborate on the issues that affect their lives and the lives of others the community. These teens would participate in a six-week film workshop, where they will make 30-second PSA's about an issue relevant to them (such as gang violence and teenage pregnancy), while promoting an organization that is dedicated to ending each problem.
