The DNA Foundation aims to eliminate child sexual exploitation worldwide.
DNA Foundation exists to end child sexual exploitation by disrupting the demand that fuels child sex trafficking and child pornography.
Over the past two years, we have produced the Real Men Don't Buy Girls campaign which reached millions of people and helped bring the issue of child sex slavery into the mainstream, helped train California law enforcement officials and first responders about the realities of human trafficking, partnered with CNN to produce the documentary "Nepal's Stolen Children" to expose the issue of child sex trafficking in India and Nepal, collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security on a PSA campaign to educate travelers about how to identify trafficking victims and report suspicious activity, and have funded the work of survivor organizations including GEMS, CAST-LA and Maiti Nepal.
In 2012, our work will be rooted in creating technology-based solutions to address the demand that fuels child sexual exploitation. With the support of the DNA Technology Task Force, formed in 2010, we will focus our efforts on research that sheds more light on the intricacies of this issue and deterrence programs that speak directly to predators.
