U.S. President Obama will visit China from November 15th to 18th. News reports indicate that he is expected to raise the issue of Tibet, but we must press him to go beyond symbolic statements of support.
With the recent executions of two Tibetans - Lobsang Gyaltsen and Loyak - China has clearly escalated its campaign to punish any Tibetan who dares to speak out for freedom and human rights.
President Obamo is in a unique position to hold the Chinese government accountable and make real progress towards a just and lasting resolution for the Tibetan people.
In addition to sending the peition below, please contact the White House to urge President Obama to stand up for Tibet: http://actionnetwork.org/campaig...

Read about Bosco http://helpbosco.blogspot.com
Bosco is 10 years old and he lives in Uganda.
His family if from Northern Uganda, the area where the LRA has kidnapped children and used them as soldiers. Bosco's family moved to Kampala earlier this year and
they live in a slum area called Kireka Hill. On Sunday Oct 25, there was heavy wind and rain and Bosco's small mud hut collapsed. His Mom would like to start an Income Generating Project to help provide for her children. Bosco has 4 sisters and 1 brother. They all attend the Christian Upliftment School in Kampala, Uganda. Before they came to the school earlier this year they were very malnourished. They were beggars before and were literally starving, the only thing they had been eating was leaves and cassava root. I pity the anonymous who cowardly hide him(her)self behind a mouse. I pray with compassion because he's insane, ignorant and fearfull. Poor thing!
Confio e me apoio na impermanência. Que o Tibet possa ser livre!

Rich Dye: Your text is very bitter and arrogant. You are poisoning yourself. Be careful.
I'm sorry to say, but I gave real information. If you "do not allow others to oppress people", then why don't you go to: North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Somalia, on every extremist Islamist's area in the world for example? How about fixing your own country's oppression first then?
I do not judge people, since it's not really my job to do. I occasionally shake people to wake them up to the reality.
I'm only loyal to my family and that's it. Also, I'm fairly certain that my view is much less limited than yours. You stooped so low so many times in the text clearly blinded by emotions.
Also to add, you seemed to miss pretty much every single point made in the text.
As the final part, I'd like to say: A cause that cannot take criticism is not a cause worth taking.
