The Chinese invaded Tibet in the early 1950s and have occupied it since that time. They've killed and raped Buddhist nuns, monks and other clerics. They've destroyed Buddhist art, thousands of years old, destroyed monasteries and committed genocide against the ethnic Tibetans. They've shipped in ethnic Chinese individuals and call them "Tibetans". They've attempted to destroy the soul of mahayana buddhism through murder, mayhem and theft. They've driven a culture, thousands of years old from it's homeland claiming that the land was traditionally chinese. Since Tibet lacked petroleum resources, the rest of the world ignored and continues to ignore this occupation. Boycott "tibetan" imports unless they're made by Tibetan refugees (principally) in India or Nepal. Boycott tourism in Tibet--- you would only see what few monasteries and temples that the invaders have not destroyed and will see only what they allow you to see. The chinese must leave Tibet and renounce their unfounded claim. Stealing something does not make you own it.
I hope that people will soon realize how much suffering the Chinese bring Tibetan people and all this only because of the money. Shame on them!!!!!
It's rather convenient that the Tibetin people are peace loving and without oil, diamonds, or nuclear weapons. If that were the case the US would be there in a blink of an eye to FREE TIBET!!!!
