A Kickapoo Community Supported Public Sculpture Endeavour

The mission of the Kickapoo Community Art Fund is to support art in the greater Kickapoo valley, particularly public art
by individual artists and groups to promote cultural, social, and environmental education and awareness.

It begins with this sculpture and with this artist, Alvin Felch, Kickapoo resident and sculptor of woods and metals.

Please support Alvin in his artistic journey as he sculpts, from reclaimed old-growth burr oak, "As so Above and Below", a MONUMENTAL sculpture brought forth from the community TO BE PLACED IN A PROMINENT LOCATION IN THE KICKAPOO WATERSHED. For now and into the future
it will call upon us, to reveal in its universal human gestures, messages of hope, love and respect.

And a vision of the world that we can become, if we come together to do so.

1. Expanding the power and presence of public sculpture

2. Connecting the tangable value of present day land use to the intangeble value of preserving it for future generations
