To make a plea to the canadian government to deny Karla Homolka a pardon for the heinous crimes she has commited
Most Canadians know the story of Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. They tortured, raped and murdered two highschool girls, Kristen French from St. Cateherines and Leslie Mahaffy from Burlington. They were also responsible for the death of Karla's younger sister.
Due to a plea bargain Karla was only given a 12 year sentence. She claimed to be another of Paul's victims, but after her plea bargain had been made, video tapes of her (yes they taped it) and Paul proved that she was a more active participant than she let on.
She was released in 2005 and has been living a normal life and apparently has a child and is now studying law.
This year she is able to apply for a pardon. If this happens it will be like nothing ever happened. Her criminal record will no longer exist. 99% of pardons requests in canada are granted! She is no innocent victim, she was a willing participant of all three torture, rape and murders! It is bad enough that justice was not served when she was charged, and now she wants to make it go away. She should have be labelled a dangerous offender and not been let out out of jail. We need to let the Canadian Government know that we will not stand for this! Victims rights over a muderers rights! Society's rights over a murderers rights!She shoud not be allowed to erase her crimes as if the never existed!
