To help rebuilding lives of Yushu earthquake victims
When Yushu was hit by the devastating earthquake on April 14th, 2010 that killed about 2,700 people (official Count), injured more than 10,000 and destroyed about 85 percent of the houses in Jiegu, a town of 100,000 people, TVP was one of the first organizations to deliver emergency aid such as food, water, clothing, and medicine. Before Tibetâs freezing winter, TVP has provided 300 winterized tents for 300 families. Now we are focusing to helping rebuild business communities.
