KaBOOM!-led Builds
From our inception in 1995, KaBOOM! has led over 1,700 playground construction projects that pair community leaders with funding partners who support our mission. These playgrounds are our hallmark, all-volunteer, done-in-a-day builds that serve as an achievable win for communities that need it most.
Do-It-Yourself Tools
In addition to these KaBOOM!-led builds, we offer Do-It-Yourself Tools, which provide online resources, including trainings, challenge grants, and publications for communities that wish to plan and build a new playspace on their own.
National Campaign for Play
KaBOOM! also leads the KaBOOM! National Campaign for Play, which rallies individuals and communities to achieve better public policy, funding and public awareness for increased play opportunities. To help individuals achieve results on a grassroots level, we created the Playmaker Network, whose members are the eyes, ears and voice for play in their communities. In 2007, we launched another component of the campaign, the Playful City
USA recognition program, which honors the efforts of cities that create an agenda on play.
KaBOOM! inspires mass action for the cause of play, empowers individuals to take action on behalf of play and works to create playspaces through the participation and leadership of communities. Please join us as we help create a more playful nation.

We have started a school Project with KaBoom to help us with our fundraising efforts on our own Playground project.

I love you guys and all of what you stand for..I couldnt think of a better cause. It was because of your organization I was able to help build a new playground in a well needed area of our town!
We're trying to get a playground at our school. Currently all we have is an asphalted lot with 2 basketball hoops. This is one of the places that are willing to help us!
