Guide Dogs of America. One of many credible, important service animal organizations. Millions of dogs and cats are stuck in rescues or euthanized; better they should become guide dogs, therapy dogs, companion dogs, diabetic shock warning dogs, cancer sniffing dogs, and other wonderful services. GDA was founded by the Machinists Union in NJ 61 years ago and now breeds, raises, trains and places about 40 guide dogs to blind people each year ... and replacement guide dogs when their current dogs retire. Contact me for special programs that schools love and help GDA.
