The goal is to raise $7,500 to fund the Holly fireworks for 2010
Fred Hopper, a Holly resident and the village's fireworks contractor since 2001, has offered to try and raise funds to continue the fireworks show in Holly this year. The village council had to make the tough decision to remove the funds for the fireworks show this year due to the budget.
I have offered to help Fred in any way possible to raise this money. There will be collection canisters placed throughout businesses in Holly and a bank account, "The Holly Fireworks Fund" has been set up through Citizens Bank.
Checks can be made out to "The Holly Fireworks Fund" and mailed to:
The Holly Fireworks Fund

A Paypal account has also been establised and can be found on Fred's post in the cause's discussion board or through the Holly Express article linked on this cause's Top News.
With approximately 6,000 residents in the Village of Holly, the goal of $7,500 is certainly attainable. Please show your support by making a donation AND/OR spreading the word.
Thank you!
2. With about 6,000 residents in the Village of Holly, we would be able to continue the fantastic fireworks show for nearly $1 per person...
