Preserve the Washington State Library from damaging budget cuts.

Budget cuts during this unprecedented economic downturn have significantly weakened the ability of the Washington State Library (WSL) to serve its statewide general public and library constituencies. The purpose of this cause page is to create a community of supporters who are ready to advocate on the State Library's behalf, through contacts with the Governor and legislators via email, phone, letter, word-of-mouth, and in-person visits. This page is an outreach of the Friends of the Washington State Library. Please consider joining our organization by completing the form at the WSL Friends site http://wslfriends.org. Memberships are $25.00 (or less) per year.
