Safe Haven Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit

Safe Haven''s multi-faceted mission is to provide important social programs for young people, often isolated due to the prejudice and stigma still surrounding AIDS. Through camps, educational outreach, and global partnerships, as well as other year round activities young people gain a new connection - in a world where few try to understand them, Safe Haven cares and understands. Additionally, Safe Haven alumni travel the US presenting at schools and conferences via our SPEAKOUT program. In 1998 - 2008, Safe Haven teens spoke in front of well over 90,000 teens. We have planned an additional 20 presentations in summer, 2008 as well as a new camp for young people with HIV and AIDS in Arden, NC April 4 - 10, 2008
