Her hollow eyes look into fire
As heat of AIDS burns body thin
Raky limbs reach to nowhere
Questions rage in troubled mind.
His hand touches her bony shoulder
Blood quickened, her hand lifts to his
Eager for hope’s energy to move her
Her soul thirsts for whatever can fill.
Connected to his power and presence
She wonders with grace-smitten heart:
How and what can I give back
To him who gives so much to me?
Voiceless song of thanks she exhales
With lasting breath of joy she breathes.
As gifts shower from God’s people
Their touch of love is changing life.

Is this fund-raising campaign not completed? The goal was 3 million by Dec. 5, 2009! The amount was raised and the date passed.
I would love some update as to whether the campaign will continue and what the new goal is along with some celebratory announcement??
