Health insurance reform rally tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Capitol, 12:30, third floor, Grand Staircase. Come and hear some stories of health insurance industry abuses and how we can begin to take back the state. www.okhealthcarereform.com.
Kirsten,
Thanks a ton for the tip. It's going to be hard sometimes to keep up with this stuff, as the 4:30 p.m. committee hearing shows. Please keep us in the loop.

Info from a fellow League of Women Voter's member: Tort reform bill: HB 1021 is going to be reviewed Tuesday, I think, in the Economic Development and Financial Services Committee at the Capitol in Room 412C at 4:30 PM. The two committee chairs are Representative Danny Sullivan and Representative Randy McDaniel. They are both Republicans. If you go to the Legislature website, you will find information on how to e-mail them, and/or call them. You will also be able to find the other committee members. Cory does not serve on this committee . . . however, he might be able to advocate on your behalf if he knows how you feel. The bill will limit damage recovery. You can also access the bill language on the legislature website.
