For those who decide to participate in the "Let Your EDS Stars Shine" Signature Quilt Fundraiser-

If exceeding 20 characters and spaces combined on a line please contact me before making a purchase as the space used varies from one block to another depending on letters and capitals used. Please check SPELLING CAREFULLY as it will appear on the signature quilt as you specify by using cut and paste to another program. A consistent font will then be selected and printed to be copied directly to the quilt top. All names will appear in black lettering. Text size will depend on block selection and a consistent size is preferred, however, if necessary longer names may be adjusted to fit within the space allowed if possible. The lettering on the star "C" blocks can not be made smaller. Re-sizing is only an option for blocks "A" and "B."

When you have read through all the available information and made your appropriate donation, please be sure to message me privately on facebook, http://www.facebook.com/anita.burdzel?ref=profile, specifying the name you wish to appear on your donation space (or leave your dedication info directly on the cause wall) and your block selection from block options "A" ($100.00), "B" ($50.00), or "C" ($25.00) according to your donation. You should recieve a response within two days, if not please resend your information or leave a comment here on the cause to make us aware of your difficulties so we may contact you.

Please note your business sponsor's name if you are using the 100 dollar (block "A") business sponsor option. Your name will appear above your sponsor's name on one of the "A" blocks in the quilt. We hope individuals will be able to get a sponsor to fund the "A" block for them, making it free.

We will also be pleased to see loved ones share block "A" together. *In response to demand we offer the option of using up to 5 lines on the "A" block in order to allow people the option of adding a message about a loved one. The "A" block, due to it's size, is our most versatile block available.

If space will allow, we may be able fit more than one name with a shared last name on one line of the "A" or "B" block. Sample photos are available for viewing. While the cause wall does not allow viewing of all the photos, only the most recent ones, my wall album has the entire collection of photos.

*We have recently added the option of a second line on block "B" to accommodate the needs of the donors. The quilt has evolved many times to reflect the wishes of those who have chosen to become a part of this project.

Some of the blocks have images embroidered on them to reflect the interests of the honoree. In order to take advantage of this option a simple, clean line drawing needs to be available to use and must be simple when sized to the proportions fitting the space available.

Bottom line, we will do our best to accommodate participants.

Note: The photo details one block "A," four separate block "B's" and two separate block "C's."

The stars are made with a scrappy look because EDSers have no choice but to be scrappy people themselves and because it allows the stars to appear to twinkle and give movement to the quilt.

It will be the names themselves that are the most important feature of the quilt and that is as it should be. A historical record of EDS to say, "Yes, we exist." The quilt will last longer than any of us if cared for well. An opportunity to be remembered long after any who knew us are gone. Please feel free to tell us why your block is special to you and share a memory. The quilt tells a beautiful story and we would love to hear from you.
