Because they are there when you least expect them.. And they come through.. rain, hell, and high water..! they are there!!
I've been a volunteer for about 12 years. It's a wonderful cause. They help so many in need.

Many people in the world only notice these organizations when they need help. That's not right. I want to do the right thing. I don't have much (i'm broke, unemployed and uninsured), but there is always someone less fortunate. The Red Cross is there for them so I want to be there for the Red Cross.
