Recent Cause Activity
If you are looking for a good cause to give your nickles (or better yet, dollars) toward, I've found a great one. This organization helps reunite refugees throughout the world with lost friends and relatives. I never promote this sort of things, but I thought this was a truly worthwhile cause.
Updated: The cause has raised $500.
Globally, an estimated 15 million people are denied citizenship. This figure is conservative: accurate numbers are hard to come by because governments rarely collect reliable statistics. Also, because stateless people are already vulnerable and struggling to fulfill their basic needs, few groups have organized themselves to be counted.
