Somali Women’s Scholarship Fund

Two years ago, a number of Somali women were recruited into the journalism program at Puntland State University in Somalia. Unfortunately, after a few months, virtually all the women were forced to drop out because they could not afford tuition. For each $1,000 that is raised, a Somali woman will be able to attend classes for an entire year at one of seven Somali universities.
