Local Fairhope, AL artist Susana Jones has several passions-children and painting. When Susana Jones heard about the Adoption Rocks cause she generously donated two oil paintings for the silent auction that will be held this Thursday, October 15th.

The first painting is titles "Bird Nest with Eggs" and it represents "family". The second is titled, "Landscape" and evokes the feeling of peace. Susana painted both oils with a pallet knife. She is a self-taught artist who used painting as a form of therapy when her husband became ill and bed ridden. Her paintings were instantly successful and picked up by several local galleries and displayed at Fairhope Museum.

Besides finding Susana's paintings at the Adoption Rocks Silent Auction on Octoner 15th, you can also find her work locally at Patina’s Gallery in Fairhope. In Birmingham at Matt Jones Gallery and in Destin at the Beverly McNeal Gallery.
