Rainbow Rescues Inc was established in 2008 to help complete families by placing loving
pets in their forever homes.
After several years of unofficial pet placement and animal welfare work a brother and sister team decided to create an organization to find homes for abandoned, neglected, abused, or surrendered pets whose owners are unable to afford or care for them.
Rainbow Rescues Inc is a volunteer run agency created to help find homes for
surrendered, abandoned, abused, homeless, unwanted or neglected pets. We accept all
animals except for large livestock, though we will provide referral services for livestock
surrenders. Each animal surrendered to our agency is evaluated for health and
temperament issues, vaccinated, and altered.
We are dedicated to helping as many animals as we can through education, understanding, training, and love.
1. We are a no-kill shelter.
2. We do not have a central facility, like that of a kennel, and utilize a foster care system to give the animals the home-like environment they deserve.
3. We foster unwanted, abused and abandoned pets while volunteers find loving permanent homes, catered to the needs of each individual animal.
