Only 3 years from today the world will experience ONE-DAY-OF-PEACE'. Wars and violence will take a day off, accidents and hospital admissions will be reduced (except for births) and the news will be good. . Teach peace. We don't start weaving the parachute as we jump from the plane. Namaste.

Not heavily, not in a raging blizzard. No, just like in a dream,without any violence at all. Since I didn't have anything better to do,I counted the snowflakes settling on the twigs and needles of mybranch. Their number was exactly 108,000,000. When the next snowflakedropped onto the branch–nothing more than nothing–as you say–the branch broke off.” Having said that, the coalmouse ran away.
The dove, since Noah's time an authority on peace, thought about the story for a while. Finally, she said to herself, “Perhaps there is only one person's voice lacking for peace to come to the world.”

Visions for Prisons
Dan is the founder of the not-for-profit Visions for Prisons, contributor of 3 stories in ‘Chicken Soup for the Prisoners Soul’ and one in ‘Serving Time-Serving Others’and author of ‘The Mudra of Light’(out of print) and ‘The One Minute Miracle’
Dan has taught yoga and meditation for more than twenty years both inside and outside of prisons around the globe. He has facilitated more than one thousand support groups in refugee camps, prisons and communities supporting people with life threatening illnesses.
It was the night before a meditation workshop in a juvenile prison in Brazil where he and his volunteer coordinator from Sao Paulo attempted to come up with something they could give to these young prisoners, most of whom could not read or write, and did not have a tooth brush among them, that the 'One Minute Miracle' was born.
Using 12 simple hand gestures and affirmations, and after only a few repetitions, the kids seemed to “get it” and responded with great joy and lightness which was not present in this dark and filthy place before. Dan continued traveling and taught the simple ceremony to his adult groups in prisons and wellness centers until open-heart surgery took him off the “traveling guru circuit” as he called it.
So many people responded just like “the Sao Paulo kids” Dan compiled a “how-to book” so more people could understand the power of The One Minute Miracle daily ritual to bring peace to their lives. “Repitition is the key to my own learning and that is what mantras are all about.”, said Millstein, “I think?” he added with a twinkle in his eye.
Dan’s current project is to gather '108 Million Teachers of Peace' around the world and agree to One-Day-Of-Peace, one day of non-violence on December 21, 2012, “just to see what happens!?”
“Lets stop marching against war and teach peace by giving up our attack thoughts as we transform our own consciousness”, says Dan sitting on a rock in his Zen garden in California.
