Thanks for the info about the Weecompanions rescue. I went to their website and made a donation. Over 25 years ago, I had guenia pigs as pets and have been enamoredwith them ever since. I didn'tknow there was a rescue oranization so near to me! I hope Casper is doing well. Maggi xx

Yeah.....what a Journey for a little piggy......she practially went around the world..Good to hear she is well and faired all the travelling....Jenn just glad this is fianlly done for you...Hope you also had a happy reunion with your son....Wish we could of heard from Ellen or Orpha....I am really dissapointed in that.........I think the least they could have done was...to say sorry we got your letters...etc..but nothing......anyway cant cry over spilled milk....Just happy you both made it safe and sound and had a safe trip...Keep in touch let us know how the precious little Casper is doing and you and you son too......XXXXXOOOO)..........<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

Update: we've arranged a safe flight from Honolulu to Vancouver for Casper - still working on getting Casper from Perth to Honolulu safely. All ideas appreciated!

BAD NEWS, WE NEED HELP!!!

Qantas refuses to fly Casper, saying she is too unhealthy (is disabled unhealthy?!) and JetPets refuses to try anymore. The only other airline that flies to Hawaii is Hawaiian Airlines and they won't take guinea pigs in cargo. I really need a Gulfstream flight attendant to take Casper from Sydney across.

Glad you have raised your money..I only wish you could have gotten some very special treatment for you and Casper to fly on the plane together so you could give the round the clock care she needs..I dont understand how like you said unless your rich or a star you dont get and priviliged treatment.....Sorry I couldnt do more...Please keep in Touch Jenn, I would like to know how your trip goes wehn you finally get something in paper....I wish only good vibes for you two on your journey...Pamela.....<3<3<3

We've reached our goal of $2500 to fly Casper home! We're still looking for flight attendants on private airlines (Gulfstreams preferably) that would consider taking just Casper from Perth to Sydney, and Sydney to LA or San Fran or Hawaii, and from there to Vancouver. If you know any private jet flight attendants, please share Casper's story with them!

oh and for anyone who reads these, I buy ALL of my pig things from Jens Custom Crafts and they LOVE them!! Really well made and very popular among my ladies. So makes sense to buy things and help Casper!

There is a website that raises money for guinea pigs each month, it's called sponsoraguineapig.com I believe that is the link, or try sponsoraguineapig.blogspot.com
You maybe could try contacting them to put Casper on their site. They manage to raise a couple hundred bucks per pig. Just a thought. They're on facebook.
