A 9-year-old Pueblo girl who went missing in Pueblo, Colorado on January 19, 2012 has been safely located in Colorado Springs.

 

KRDO Newschannel 13 is reporting that someone recognized the girl from the Amber Alert. The the suspect went into a bathroom at a restaurant and when he did Calysta ran.

 

Police are still in the area looking for a suspect. Police tell us they are looking for an Hispanic man with a shaven head. He may now be in a gray pick up truck, police say.

 

Three schools in the are are on "secure perimeter" status, according to School District 20. Those schools are Woodmen Roberts Elementary, Rockrimmon Elementary and Foothills Elementary.

 

An Amber alert was issued Friday morning for a 9-year-old girl who didn't come home from school on Thursday. Police issued the alert just after 3 a.m. Friday.

 

Pueblo police say Calysta Cordova did not come home from Colombian Elementary Thursday after school.
