Recent Cause Activity
I am tired of "play-along-to-get-along" politicians who earn more in a year than I will see in a lifetime...some of whom don't even bother to show up in sessions.
I am disgusted with the Socialized Medicine already in place...abused NOT by physicians (as a rule), but by the clerks and bureaucrats who run these various programs. Why on earth would someone capable of running and working at a landscaping business and earning at least $50,000 per year be allowed to collect SSDI?? (Yes, I know someone who does just that--and has been living out of wedlock for years with a man so she won't lose the [relative] pittance for which you and I are forced to pay.
In years past, various charities did wonderful work in seeing to it that people in need had at least the minimum they needed. Now folks think the Government is Daddy (or Mommy).
Kevin, any plans to record/video/memorialize this rally??

My parents lost pretty much everything because of the government.
I'm tired of having my money taken from me to fund projects and causes I do not agree with.
Yes. Everyday is government sucks day to me as well. Until they start upholding the US Constitution it will be.
Three little letters I R S I am a business owner and every day pay hundreds of dollars to the government to have the right to do business in this so called free country. I constantly have to pay some kind of new registration fee, tax, or license, that some new beuracrat decided would be best if we had some new program, but who will fund it? How about the same people we want to control with it. Lets make them pay for there own harrasment and additional headache. And no chance on refusing it we just get threatened with huge fines if we don't comply.
Someone tell me what are we supposed to do, how do we defend ourselves anymore.

Nov 7 would be a good day to get snail mail to your legislators telling them why the Government Sucks. Maybe they need another tea bag or a photo of a tea bag, too. There are VERY FEW in Congress today (Michele Bachmann for one) who needs to stay in Congress because they work for US as well as their constituents. Send her a Thank You! She definitely deserves our support. Speaking of, send $$$ to Constitutional Conservatives running against incumbents. And if the person is not a Constitutional Conservative, support him/her anyway and Vote Stupid Out of Congress!
Jefferson and the other founding fathers wouldnt even recognize the grotesque perversion of what their great experiment in liberty has become!

NATIONAL GOVERNMENT SUCKS DAY will be held on Saturday, November 7th, on the grounds of Middlefaire Renaissance Festival in Hillsboro, Texas. Hours will be 11 A.M. to 8 P.M.
We have three prominent speakers lined up at this writing:
-Libertarian Party presidential candidate - MARY RUWART
-LRC Columnist and Activist - KAREN DE COSTER
-LP Activist and publisher of Liberty for All - R. LEE WRIGHTS

This promises to be an informal and very fun event. It's official! Help us spread the word: Government Sucks.
Plans move ahead for the National Government Sucks Day Rally on November 7th. We plan a big public relations push for the event in September.

I no can longer love any country that allows forced annexation. I no longer love America for taking my freedom. This in not the america described to me in the history books. It's more like Red China. They now own us.
