Last night I attended a dinner where Maria-Teresa Petersen was honored by Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) for creating this amazing organization, VOTO LATINO. It was amazing to see that a Latina with a vision to see the impact that the Latino Vote would make on the Presidential Election of 2008, worked hard, obtained the sponsors and made her organization a reality. It inspired me to continue the work that do. Thank your for the work that you do Maria-Teresa Petersen. I look forward to the great work that you will continue to do. You truly had a great impact on the country.
