Children Flourish Because Caregivers Nourish: Give in Honor of your Caregiver
With each new spring blossom, we are reminded of the gardeners, the proud caretakers who tend to each sprout's new beginnings. This spring, let's celebrate our own nurturers, the caregivers in our lives. Since 1920, the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) has created new beginnings for children

Why is this campaign important to you?
It seems that I used to hear an occasional story about child abuse and I thought it was horrific that there were people that could do such things, now it is a daily news item. There are too many laws that protect these child abusers and we must act now to put these people away. There are too many young people children themselves who are having babys at a young age and do not know haw to care for them properly. Abuse comes in all shapes and forms I hope you will join me and countless...

Too many laws that protects child abusers you say? That is absolutely NOT true. Claims of child abuse is something totally different than child abuse. Most of the times the child abuse is in the claims of child abuse, not in abuse itself. It's a very important distinction.
It is a lot of research in the area, It's best to NOT listen to what the press and government say about these issues. If you don't know what I am talking about I suggest you i.e. read the story about the game PS2 'Rule of Rose'. It was claimed to be a game promoting child abuse and pedophilia by some top politicians in the EU. The false claims actually stopped the game from release for 3 years. It was nothing as such, still the press wrote nothing else (almost) on the front pages for more than a year. So in people's minds the game is still a game promoting child abuse. But that is absolutely not a fact.
To actually stop child abuse, we will have to change society so they accept that mothers are also child abusers. And they are even more dangerous to children than fathers, or any other person close or not, to the child. According to resent research by i.e. Phd Elisabeth Staksrud, ass. prof. Harvard Law School, the most dangerous place for children on the internet is where children interact without adults present. Child abuse by adults is only a marginal portion of the concept of child abuse. To get it right, these are things we have to accept as a society first. The truth is NOT in the news. And to convict innocent adults does not at all help. It makes the issue more serious for children if we continue to address the wrong issues and mistake them as reasons for child abuse, rather than symptoms of a society that scrams 'child abuse' and 'we need to kill those bastards' on every front page every time a false allegation reach the front pages.
Why is there more protection for animals than a helpless child?
This is becoming now a dilema, in many part of the world people abuse in children. They seam like they had born adult.
But if we reflect to the past we would think that if we had been abused by others we would not have been the way we are Now.
Take care of the little and tomorrow they will take care of other.
Never abuse on them, if you have nothing to do for them, just GOD LOVES YOU MY LITTLE.

I have been raising children in my family since I was a child myself. I come from a big family of cousins, all younger than myself (I'm an only child). I've also taken care of the children of friends and neighbors over the last 30 years. Children are precious and lovely, sweet and innocent, curious and loving. …I have been raising children in my family since I was a child myself. I come from a big family of cousins, all younger than myself (I'm an only child). I've also taken care of the children of friends and neighbors over the last 30 years. Children are precious and lovely, sweet and innocent, curious and loving. They unwittingly expose themselves to dangers and it is our job to protect them. I love children, I always have, and I have always surrounded myself with them because I learn a great deal from them, as much as they learn from me. I have dedicated my very existence to protect all children everywhere as much as I can. If saving the life of a child means sacrificing my own life, I will do so gladly because they are the future, and they must survive long after we're gone. Love them, hug them, hold them, tell them that you love them no matter what they say or do. Yes, they may hurt you in ways even they don't understand but that's ok. To me, the saddest sound ever is to hear the crying of a child; the sweetest sound is their laughter.
